Throwback to 2025-09-23...
While vibe coding a Rust Pomodoro CLI app in Zed editor via GitHub Copilot in the Agent Panel, the model switched context mid-response.
It started generating coherent Java/Spring Boot code for unrelated methods with French comments, repository patterns, and Kafka validation logic — none of which existed in my workspace.
Foreign content vanished on restart. Reported as potential cross-session context leak (38739).
GitHub later shared a post-mortem disclosure email.
